Dreaming is something that all humans, and most animals, do. Dreaming is mostly done when we sleep, but some people can dream while they are awake as well. Dreams can happen when your eyes are closed and sometimes even when you are in a darkness with your eyes open.

dream dictionary

I will start the dream dictionary with the types of dreams you are most likely to experience. I believe all dreams have a purpose and all dreams have meaning. Some dreams follow universal patterns and many dreams are “in code”, so to speak, so you will have to translate what they mean. I will list some of them here for you. Note that I am always available to discuss your dreams in a Private Reading on Oranum.com. However, not everything in a dream is important! There are many parts of a dream that are just filling, so that the rest of the dream makes sense to us.

Here are a few of the more common dream symbols you will experience over your lifetime.

Dream dictionary – ADVERTISMENTS:  Where are they; in a magazine or on a billboard?  Maybe they were on TV?  I always find these to be a very positive sign in a dream, because you will often get what it is you are wanting. Adverts in a dream often tell you what it is that you desire.

Dream dictionary – AIRPLANES: Where were they? Where were you? Were you rushing to the airport, or were you already there waiting for either arrivals or departures. If you are departing, the symbol suggests that you will soon be going somewhere or someone else will be leaving your life for a while. If you are waiting at the arrivals however, something or someone you have been waiting for is on the way to you.

ANGELS: I have often dreamt of angels. They have always been good dreams. They come to bless or guide you, or even sometimes they will take you to meet friends and family on the other side. I love angel dreams.

ANIMALS: This depends on the animal or animals you see. I will include the most common animal dreams later. But if it is an animal you like, then it’s a good dream and if it is one you are afraid of, then it’s often a warning.

Dream dictionary – BABY: Babies in dreams represent new life. New something.  They are very spiritual in dreams and may even indicate a new life is coming close to you. It can mean also something you have been expecting to happen is about to. I dreamt of a new baby every time my wife was about to become pregnant. If the baby is crying in the dream you should look at what still needs to be done if you are expecting something new to happen in your life. I have even dreamt exactly when my children were going to be born.

Dream dictionary – BALLOONS: Can mean a lot of hot air. Something being made out of nothing. Something about to blow up.

BAND PLAYING: Sometimes we are aware of sounds and music in our dreams and can wake up with the tune still buzzing around in our heads. If it was music you enjoyed expect a pleasant surprise. If it was music you do not like be prepared to ignore something of someone in order to keep the peace.

BANKS / MONEY / CHECKS:  Banks are about plans. Money often does NOT mean money coming to you unexpectedly, but possibly money that has been expected for some time. Checks often do not mean money at all in the strict sense. There is a reason they pronounce it “check”, so check up on any outstanding debts. This is an example that may only apply in countries where this spelling is used. So at this point I will explain that the way you spell a word is not the important factor. The way the word sounds is. The same sounding words often have many different meanings. Take note of that when trying to decipher dreams where these words appear.

BEACH. Most likely, dreaming of being on a beach is a dream where other details are more important that the beach itself. Was the tide high or low? What else did you see? Boats or large ships? It could symbolize that you will soon be going on holiday and will be at the beach. One rare interpretation however, is being stranded somewhere.

BELLS: What were the bells doing? Were they playing a tune and if so, what? Often dreaming of bells indicates a wedding or another happy occasion where you may visit a church. Another interpretation is celebration or anniversary.

BICYCLE / BIKE:  These have the fundamental meaning of going for a ride. It could also be a highly sexual dream.

A psychic can give you the AUTHENTIC READING you’ve always longed for. Look one up at Oranum.com today!

BIRDS: Did you know what kind of birds they were?  Often birds can mean a child is about to be born. Happy news is on the way.  Always look at what else was going on in the dreams you had to help understand what the good news or happiness may relate to.

BRIDGE:  Were you on a bridge? We you walking towards a bridge? All the dreams of bridges where you were crossing or about to cross mean you are about to make an important journey. Once you cross the bridge you may not be able to come back. So if you have a dream with a bridge, make sure you want to cross it. This brings me to being able to control a dream. Bridges in dreams are often dreams where you have a choice. Stay still, go back or cross.

BEING CHASED:  This dream is often trying to tell you that there is something or someone looking for you to do something that you may not be ready to do or even want to do. You are running away from it. It could be trying to tell you to look back at something in your past that you are worried about. It may be that you need not worry and no longer have to run away. Where you are in the dream may not be important, but you should note it just in case.

dream dictionary

BEING NAKED: The most common meaning is that others can see something that you thought they could not see. Maybe they know something that you thought was a secret.  Your secret has been exposed.

Dream dictionary – CLIMBING / GOING UP: This can be anything that takes you up. Up a hill or mountain. Up with a plane or balloon. Anything taking you higher. The most common meaning is simply that you have the opportunity to climb up to a better position in your life.

Dream dictionary – CAMERA: If you see or have a camera in a dream, either you are being watched or you need to watch out. Look at the bigger picture if it was a large camera.

CASTLE: Castle or any type of dwelling represents you and your life. Houses, apartments, etc. all have the same kind of meaning. They are related to your life’s security.

CLOCK: Watches or clocks are dreams about time and you need to look at the face or hands on the clock. A big clock is telling you to look carefully at something. A watch has a similar meaning but often it is telling you to watch out for something coming in your direction. The hands on the clock or watch will often give us clue when such things might occur.

CROSS: To dream of a cross is often about a crossroads coming up in your life. Which way should you go? If the cross is in a church, it means that, for one reason or another, you may find yourself unexpectedly in a church. If you go to church regularly you probably will not dream of churches much at all.  This brings me to another point, most of the things you often experience, such as people you meet all the time and places you go all the time, will not be in your dreams.

CUPS: Cups represent life. The cup of life.

Dream dictionary – DANCE: Dreams of dancing mean that you may need to do something you did not think you needed to do in order to get something. It could be a job or perhaps a new home. Dancing is always a good dream to have, just make sure if it is a happy dance that you keep your wits about you and do not trust everyone all the time. However, dancing will never mean anything that you need to worry about too much.

Dream dictionary – DEATH.  Dreaming of death is about change, not about dying. Almost always it signifies the end of one thing and the beginning of something new and wonderful. Dreams of death are nothing to worry about.

You never know what a dream really means until you get a dream interpretation. Get in touch with a Dream Specialist!

DENTISTS: Dreams of dentists do not normally have teeth in them. Dentists look after your teeth, so it is a sign that you are being looked after. Dreaming of teeth has a different meaning however.

DOOR: To dream of doors is to dream of changes you can make. Was the door open or closed? Locked or unlocked?  If a door is locked, that means wait before you make a decision. If it is unlocked, now is the time to act. If it is open, you will soon enter something new. If it is closed, your dreams are trying to signal that you should wait a bit before making a move.

Dream dictionary –  EGGS:  Dreaming of eggs that you are about to eat means that you have made the right changes in your life. Cracked eggs in a dream indicate a problem that you have been working on is about to be solved. Hatching eggs signify that a project you are working on is about to start working well for you.

Dream dictionary – EARTHQUAKE: Something can shake you up, something unexpected will make you rethink a plan or project. When some people dream of earthquakes, the dreams are notifying them before a real earthquake happens. I often see them in my dreams before they happen.

Dream dictionary – FALLING. Dreams of falling can have many meanings and they depends where you are when you are falling. The most common meanings are; settling down or coming back to a position you had before. These are often dreams reassuring you that things are getting back to normal and settling down again.

Dream dictionary – FLYING: In these dreams you often feel you are actually flying and that is exactly what you might be doing. You may be having an out of body dream where you are going or being taken to a place where you always wanted to go and these dreams can show you where you will be going in the future. I have these dreams all the time. They can be good fun or they can be a bit scary. Almost always a good sign.

FLYING BUT CRASHING: These dreams are often a warning to slow down and take extra care with whatever it was you were doing in the dream. They do not mean you will crash, but they might be warning you about something in the future that you need to look out for. I often get them the night before my computer crashes…

FOOD: Food, eating, or anything where food is involved.  These dreams often are about your needs, because we all need food to stay alive. The things to look for in these dreams are, were you being fed or were you cooking the food for yourself? Was someone else offering the food to you? It is important to take note of what else was happening in your dreams with food, because they could be showing you something you need to do to make your life much happier or they are showing the way to get something you want or need.

FAILING AN EXAM / TEST: Take care, study more, revise more, because these type of dreams are trying to make sure that you do not fail in something and very often there will be clues in the dreams that will guide you to make sure you succeed in whatever it is. Often an exam like a driving test or school exam. That kind of thing. They do not tell you that you will fail. They are telling you not to fail so do a little more to make sure you do not.

FIRE: Fire in dreams often mean that something is about to start all over again from the beginning.

FISH:  Dreams about fish are about catching something or being caught over something.

FLOWERS:  Love is in the air, flowers are about a celebration of some kind. Love may be blossoming. Different flowers will have different meanings, depending what the particular flowers mean to you.

FOREST: Being in a forest can be about breathing. Trees can represent lungs. Being lost in a forest can mean that you do not yet fully understand a situation. “Can’t see the wood for the trees” is a saying that comes to mind.

Dream dictionary – GOLD: Dreaming of gold or other valuable metals.  There are many reasons you may dream about gold. Almost always, the dreams are good and very positive. You need to look at what else was happening in these dreams, as the gold is a sign of goodness and purity. As in “Good as Gold”.

dream dictionary

Dream dictionary – GUNS: Dreaming of guns is a sexual dream most of the time. New lover or meeting again with an ex-lover.

Dream dictionary – HAIR: Hair falling out can indicate a health issue, cutting hair is about money being lost or over spending. Some say dreaming about long hair is about a long journey.

Dream dictionary – HILL: To climb up a hill in a dream means you are on the right track and are getting where you want to go. Going downhill is negative and can mean things are slipping away from you.

HOUSES: As I have said with Castles and other dwellings.  These represent you and your own life.

Dream dictionary – ICE: Ice and snow represent danger.

Dream dictionary – JAIL:  If you dream of a prison, were you a visitor or were you an inmate? It mostly is a dream about being restricted in something you want to do.

Dream dictionary – JUDGES:  To dream of judges is about making the right choices. Judgements that need to be made by you or others around you.

Dream dictionary – KING:  King can mean Ruler… sometimes dreams are a play on words. So try to imagine Ruler and Measure. So look for something measure and perhaps crown. I won’t get to complicated here but often dreams do take some working out. King often has multiple meanings. It is often a good idea to look in a conventional dictionary for the meanings of a word as well. A play on King and Crown with Measure could be Head so size of a hat. These are more like the way a crossword puzzle works so always remember to look at dreams sideways. As if it was a crossword.

Dream dictionary – KEY: Any dream with a key will be important to you.  Keys in dreams are the same as keys in everyday life. Keys can lock and unlock, so a key in a dream is often trying to tell you how to understand something. How to open, close or protect something.  It could be the key to understanding something. You should be now seeing that anything in a dream can have meaning and anything that exists in life can be in a dream. If the key is in a door then you can lock or unlock whatever the door may be leading to. The door may be one you know, like your house door, or it could just be a door that has no meaning to you.

Dream dictionary – LOST SOMETHING: Dreams of losing something may mean that you will or have already lost something. Very often these dreams are telling you what you may lose or where to find something you have already lost. The item in question could either be a person or object.

Dream dictionary – LOVE: One of the most common dreams involves LOVE.  Your feelings or someone else’s LOVE. Almost always these do relate to relationships with a person or people. Remember though, we can also love places or things. Take care to write down any dreams involving love, because they may often be repeating dreams over days, weeks or even longer. I like LOVE dreams.

You never know what a dream really means until you get a dream interpretation. Get in touch with a Dream Specialist!

LUST: Dreams of LUST mostly relate to relationships you have, had or want to have. I will say more when I get to sexual dreams. But lust can be about other things not connected to sex.

LIFT / LADDER: (Elevator.) This is often the same as a dream of climbing/going up when the lift is going up or you are going up a ladder. As before it is important to look at the other parts of the dream. For example; you could be sliding down or falling off a ladder and the same with an elevator or lift.  So the context is important.

LEADER: This can be the leader of anything. A country or group of any kind where there is a leader. It also depends on who is leading and what it is that they are leading. As you have seen by now, almost any situation can be in a dream and it’s often not easy to decide what parts of the dream have the most meaning.  I always say look at the main details.  For example; you are in a group of people in a class at the gym, the leader of the group is demonstrating how to perform the next exercise. It may not be the leader / instructor that is important here but the fact you are in the group or the type of routine you are following.  If these kind of dreams are recurring, it could mean that the dreams are telling you to listen to people around you who are trying to help you or show you something that is important for you to do.

LOCK:  Again, the lock may or may not have a key. Locks can have other meanings depending how it is spelt, so it is important to remember that in a dream, should take the most obviously recognizable object as a clue. Loch in some places means a large lake. So this is again something to watch out for.

LAKE:  It is not likely that if you see a large body of water you will think Loch unless you live in a place where Lakes are called Lochs. In Scotland for example. Therefore it is important to remember that your dreams will use the symbols and words you most used to in your everyday life.

LABEL: A Label in a dream is much the same as a label on your clothes or something you buy. A label identifies what it is on. So if you see a label try to remember where you saw the label in your dream. What was the label on or perhaps you remember what was on the label?

LAMB: Seeing a lamb or lambs in a dream represents something innocent, kind or soft. Consider the metaphor “gentle as a lamb”.

LAMP:  A lamp in your dream symbolizes guidance, hope, inspiration, enlightenment and reassurance. If the lamp is dimly lit or unlit, then it suggests that you are feeling overwhelmed by emotional issues. You have lost your ability to find your own way or see things clearly. To see a broken lamp in your dream suggests that you are shutting out those who are trying to help you. It is also symbolic of disappointments, misfortune and bad luck.

LAMP POST: To see a lamppost in your dream indicates that light needs to be shed on a dark situation. Alternatively, the dream suggests that you are coming out of a depressing or gloomy phase.

LAMP SHADE: To see a lampshade in your dream indicates that you are seeking protection from an intense energy or power. You may be trying to shield yourself or be less noticeable.

LANTERN: To see or carry a lantern in your dream represents feelings and wisdom radiating from within you. These qualities will serve to guide you through life’s journey.

LAPTOP: This can have many meanings because there are many kinds on laptops. What was on the laptop? Was it on or off? Mostly likely if you dream of a laptop, the dream will be connected to your work, your school or something personal you may use one for. It will have a different meaning than if you dream with a desktop because dreams are quite specific. If they need to show you a computer tower they will.

LEAVES or LEAF: “Leaves” is another word with many meanings. Think of how many meanings you know for Leaf or Leaves.  Tree leaves in a dream suggest that nothing lasts forever, just like leaves. Some trees lose their leaves after the summer so ask yourself, were the leaves in your dream evergreen or leaves that fall. Remember, leaves will grow back again in the spring if they are not evergreen, so something is stopping but will restart again. Evergreen leaves can mean that something will last and not fade. Tables can also have leaves. Remember that. What else can you think of where there are leaves? In a book? So this is another example where if you want to fully understand the dream you must consider all meanings of the words.

It will probably be easy for you to understand this kind of dream because it will fit with what is happening in your life at that time. Remember your dream could be about a future meeting.

MEETING PEOPLE WHO HAVE DIED: This is very common, because every one of us has friends and relatives who have passed over. It is normal for those who have passed to come to us in our dreams. PERFUME: This dream can be quite personal. It may be reminding you to get a shower or use a deodorant. It may also be reminding you to buy some for a gift for a friend or your lover. Try and remember the name of the perfume because that can often be an important clue of your dream is actually trying to tell you.

PLANTS: The key here is placing something somewhere. If you happen to be a gardener you will often dream of planting because it is an essential part of your life but there will be another reason why plant appears as a symbol. Our mind often uses objects and activities we are familiar with as clues in our dreams. What were you planting? Where were you planting? Plants need water and sunlight so this dream might tell you that you need to drink water and get out of the house more often.

PHOTOGRAPHS: If you are looking at photos in a dream, then the importance of the dream is the memories. Most likely they will be pictures of friends and lovers or family members who passed away. SHELLS: If you dream of shells while walking along the beach, it suggests luck. It can be almost any kind of good luck coming your way, either material or emotional. But the general message is that you are going to stumble upon something good that you have long been waiting for.

SHIPS: Ships in dreams may be more about the state of the ocean or water they are floating on. If the ship is sailing on calm water it means your life will be heading in the desired direction smoothly. If the water is choppy they your journey will be a bit problematic as well. So although you see a ship it’s most often the water that is important and the ship is just filling in the dream to help make sense to you.

SHOES: Shoes appearing in dreams send signs about your love life or the lack of it. It may also mean that you are envious of another person, wishing you were in their shoes. These dreams are not very frequent. I only remember having one or two dreams about shoes in my whole life.

SKY: What was the color of the sky? If it was clear and blue everything will go very well for you. Dark clouds can mean that something from your past could come back to haunt you. The sky is present in most dreams but you will not notice if the sky is not what you are meant to be focusing on.

SNAKES: This is very common, one of the most frequent symbols that appear in dreams. I am asked about snake dreams almost every day. There is no simple answer to dreaming about snakes because it is a symbol that digs into the very depths of our personal life and our soul. Remember that dreams can often show your future and if you live in an area where snakes are common you should first take these dreams as a literal warning.  Snakes do injure and often kill those who get bitten. For example in India it is estimated that 10 to 12 thousand people are killed each year because they were bitten by a snake.

It has been reported that snake bites impose an important but neglected threat to public health, and according to researchers led by Professor Janaka de Silver, from the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka, it is a growing threat to the world’s population.

So, if you live in a country where there are high numbers of snake bites consider the dream first as a warning of real danger around you. If this dream is not about real snakes it is a warning that people around you cannot always be trusted and you should be aware of potential emotional harm. It can refer to the fact that people quite close to you try to deceive you, so please take snake dreams as a personal warning.

SNOW: Those of you who have read my book Dream Detective or seen any of my TV documentaries will know, that to me, SNOW is a sign of real danger.  As with SNAKES it can depend upon where you live. If you live in an area where there is snow at the time you are dreaming about it, then it may have literal meanings for you. For example as I am writing this it is snowing outside. So the best way to decipher the meaning of a dream with snow is to ask yourself if it’s because it is snowing outside or it is expected to snow. I would always be cautious of making hasty evaluations of dreams of snow for a few days because snow has inherent dangers. You could slip and fall and hurt yourself. If you are driving a vehicle the same would apply. If there is no actual snow out there where you live or it is an entirely different season (summer, early autumn, etc.), then you should take it as a warning to take care of yourself. Watch out for situations that can be avoided and would only cause you problems. Avoid fighting with your partner. If you are feeling unwell at the time of the dream, go and get a medical checkup immediately. Dreaming of snow has saved my life at least twice because I slowed everything down and kept a close watch on where I was going and what I was doing.

SPACE: Being out in space is becoming a more popular dream and that is probably because space is all around us and now there are so many space-themed movies and TV programs. But there is more, you could actually be out of your body and in space. OBE (out of body experiences) are common and you could simply be having fun and exploring. ASTRAL TRAVEL. Many people have found out how to do this, myself being one of them. I have had enormous fun flying about in space. So in my opinion that is most likely what you were doing. On another level the dream could also try and encourage to be more adventurous in your life.

SPIDERS: Oh, I don’t like spiders! Dreaming of spiders is as common as dreaming of snakes. So it is possible a warning of real spiders because they can give you nasty bites. I almost lost my left leg because of a spider bite a few years ago. So if you have been bitten you should see a medical professional as soon as possible. If the dream is not warning of actual spiders, you should focus on the web. Now that can be the world-wide web, the internet. It could be a web of another kind. Think of other uses of the word web. A web of intrigue? A web of deceit?

So think about what spiders or webs means to you. I am sure you will easily see what spider dreams are trying to tell you.

STAR: Another word with quite a few meanings in everyday life. Dreaming of a star is most likely to be personal and have nothing to do with the stars in the sky, oh, unless you are an astronomer or astrologer or very interested in the subject. It is most likely a dream to boost your confidence and remind you that you are a star. A wonderful soul shining brightly in your own and other people’s lives. You may even be headed for stardom. So take star dreams as wonderful encouraging messages from your own psyche or from the universe.

STORM: Being caught in a storm is again a common dream. There are storms all around us in the weather, but also we can have storms in our lives. Temper tantrums are storms for example. You often hear the word he or she stormed out of the building? So be careful if you have been dreaming of storms. They could refer to weather storms or flipping out emotionally. As with other dreams of this kind, take a little extra care.

SUBWAY: I often used to dream of being in a tunnel in the subway. It was mostly literal and showed me a journey I would be making in a few days. Once though the dream was very different. It was one of those dreams where it is so real you question yourself while you are dreaming and you are half-conscious if it is this real or if it is only a dream. I was on a train and there was a huge explosion. I could see the flash of the explosion and smell the burning mixed with the normal smell of the London Underground. I also saw snow and dogs. As soon as I awoke I knew there was going to be a terror attack in the London Underground. I do not expect many of you to have a dream like this but, but if you do please take extra care if you take the subway. The normal meaning for most people is that you are on a journey and you need to focus on the goal you are trying to achieve. Remember on a subway you only go forwards or backwards once you are down there. So if you have a project or goal, go for it. Don’t look back – focus on the future.

SUN: A sun is a star, remember, so the meanings of both dreams can be the same. SON is the same sounding word, just with a different spelling so remember what I told you about the sounds of words. Dreams show you an object and that is associated with a sound in your head. Sometimes it’s the sound what is important. I dreamt of the sun in the sky the night before each of my sons were born. The sun was shining bright. It is a good sign to dream of the sun. Sun gives life to all of us.

SWIMMING: This is as common as drowning. Swimming means that there are things around you which you will be able to obtain easily. Drowning is often similar but it can simply mean that situations you find yourself in can be overwhelming or too much for you.

dream dictionary

Dream dictionary – TELEPHONES: These can be of any kind, landline, cell phone, all sorts of messenger applications with built-in sound features everything we have nowadays and can use to communicate with each other. The dream can also mean that you are expecting an important call and make sure you do not miss it.

Dream dictionary – TELESCOPES: They are frequently featured in my dreams. I have a few and often take them outside to watch the stars and planets. Dreaming about looking through a telescope tells you are curious about your future, and you have the power to do that!

TELEVISIONS: I dream about them all the time. I used to repair them for a living 50 years ago. It was my first job after I quit school and went to college. Dreaming about a TV or a screen tells you to look at the bigger picture. Make sure you pay attention and remember what you saw on the screen. They are valuable in helping you get to where you want to be.

TENTS: To be in a tent, to go camping suggests that while you are safe beneath a shelter of a tent there is more you could do to improve your life. But then again if you are about to go on holiday the dream could show you what the trip is going to be like. Being in a tent is much better sign in a dream than being out in the open with no protection.

TESTS: Dreams about test and exams are very similar to decode. Either it’s you who is put to the test or it’s actually you testing people around you. Tests are challenges and dreaming of tests or exams suggest that you need to put in a little more effort. Students often have these dreams and you should look out in the dreams for anything specific taking you to an area that you need to focus on and revise more. Your dreams want you to pass, remember that and they will help and guide you and sometimes push you to success.

Dream dictionary – UMBRELLA: A very powerful symbol in any dream. It means protection. Protection from any danger and not just getting wet in the rain. If in your dream you have an umbrella with you or you are sharing one, it means you are protected. If you are looking for one and cannot find any, please take care. This may show or mean that you or someone close to you needs protection. To have an umbrella in a dream is a good sign whatever way you look at it.

Dream dictionary – VIDEO: Video and CCTV is all around us these days so most of what you are watching in your dream on video is your actual dream. If the main feature of the dream is a video camera it may tell you to take care of yourself in public spaces. Video and CCTV is everywhere and are designed to protect us.

Dream dictionary – VOLCANO: This can be telling you that something is going to erupt in your life. Something finally coming to the surface, an overflow of emotions? These dreams are not very common unless you live near a volcano. It is often a symbol of fear. A fear of something long forgotten in your past will re-surface and erupt again. It is a warning for you to stay calm and quiet. Don’t generate unnecessary problems in your life. Do not be your own worst enemy. Sometimes you need to learn to say nothing and observe the situation silently.

Dream dictionary – WALLS: Someone or something is blocking your path. You could be walking, running, swimming in fact, you could be almost anywhere, but a wall will prevent you from going any further. These dreams are trying to tell you that you won’t succeed in what you are aiming at. Walls in dreams do not mean that at some time in the future you will not be able to move forward, they merely say that right now you better stop trying. I always say it is pointless pushing at a bolted door. It is better to wait for a time when the bolt or lock is undone. There is always a time to move forward and a time to wait. Walls in dreams tell you to wait.

Dream dictionary – WATER: Any dream with water will connect to your emotions. Waves in the water tell you things will not be easy for you in the near future.

WEDDINGS: If you dream you are at a wedding the dream is sending you a message about a union, a partnership. Often it is foretelling a real wedding and you will soon learn in real life whose wedding it is, it can even be your own wedding as well. Sometimes dreams of weddings are just wish fulfillment. I cannot think of anything negative about dreams about weddings. Judge the meaning of the dreams based on how you feel when you wake up. Any negative dream with a wedding in it will have other much more relevant content. So treat wedding dreams as nice and positive dreams unless something else in the dream is obviously negative.

WHEELS: A wheel or wheels in dreams are telling you that things are turning around and moving forward. Plans you have made will come true. Wheels represent good fortune. A new cycle in life is about to start and bring you happiness.

WIFE: If you dream you are now a wife, and you are single in real life, the dream is saying you will soon get a marriage proposal. If you are a wife then there will be a change in the way your relationship moves forward. Normally a good sign.

WINDOWS: The obvious meaning would be a real window but it can relate to a computer too. When I dream of broken windows I know I will have problems with one of my computers. Windows are also connections to the spiritual world. If you dream you go through a window in a dream you will often find in that same dream you meet a departed friend or relative, indicating windows between the worlds.

WINGS:  If you dream you have wings in a dream it is trying to tell you that it is ok to fly. You may see angels with wings in dreams and that is a wonderful spiritual dream.

Dream dictionary – X-RAYS:  If you dream you are having an X-ray, most likely this dream tells you that you are able to see much more than you think you can about a situation.

Dream dictionary – ZOO:  If you dream you are in a zoo, it might simply mean you are surrounded by many people who have emotional problems. Too much is going on in your life and you need to spend time relaxing or just may be you will soon take a day off and literally visit a zoo and admire the beauty of wildlife.
