This will be the week that just keeps on cosmically giving! Not only will we welcome Eclipse Season on May 26th, but there will also be a Full Super Blood Moon in Sagittarius. You may be thinking that this is enough activity to keep you on your toes, yet there are more turns around the corner! The much-feared Mercury Retrograde comes into effect on Saturday. It’s an astrological whirlwind to say the least, however, you can come out ahead with the right planning and preparation.
The Full Super Blood Moon in Sagittarius
This lunar phase is one for the books! We will experience a Super Moon, the most bright and brilliant nights for a Moon, but it will also happen during Eclipse Season – making it a Blood Moon! These lunations are referred to this way due to the reddish glow they appear to have during eclipses.
But what makes a Full Moon during Eclipse Season different than a regular Full Moon? In general, eclipses are times for mediation and reflection. This means that if you’re used to manifesting during Full Moons, it might be better to hold off until the New Moon on June 10th.
Instead of focusing your energy on new plans and goals, use it to reflect on those that are still on the table. Now is the time to do the soul work you’ve been avoiding. Go ahead and ask yourself the tough questions. Since this Full Moon lands in the adventurous and whimsical sign of Sagittarius, don’t be surprised if themes related to restlessness and travel come to the fore.
Mercury Retrograde
Along with Eclipse Season on the 26th, Mercury will turn Retrograde on Saturday May 29th. It’s double trouble and marks a time for you to proceed in your day-to-day life with caution. During this three-week period, try to live by these rules to make sure you come out on the other side unscathed:
1. Try to refrain from making major life decisions. If a contract or high stakes business plan is up in the air, perhaps hold off until June 22nd.
2. Take things slowly. Read that text before pressing send, think before blurting that thought out, and be careful about the criticisms and advice you’re giving.
3. Keep things flexible. If a vacation or strict itinerary is in place for the next few weeks, you may consider adding some buffer times.
The key to getting the most out of this Full Moon and Mercury Retrograde, will rest in your ability to be patient and self-reflect. If you need more tips and resources about this period, ask our Astrologers today! For your detailed weekly horoscopes click here.
